I just talked with a reservation agent and the lowest fare is actually $403.00US (not $419 as reported in the press release) plus $86.90 in taxes. For flights flying Thu/Fri/Sat/Sun, there is apparently a $30US weekend surcharge per way. It would appear that pricing had not been decided yesterday morning when I did my initial search (and screen capture) that found a ~$700 price. Now it's official: ~$400something through the end of May 2003 (if booked by Nov. 25).
Also, I posed the question if the $479US price for an onward connection in Europe was also valid on a Lufthansa-ticketed Star Alliance flight, but it is not. All flight segments have to be physically operated and piloted by Lufthansa to qualify for this promotion.
Finally, based on what I've experienced so far, it would appear that pricing is the same via their call center and website. Agencies such as Expedia.com, however are not yet reflecting the existence of these flights.
