A Real Cowboy To Love
Three Dog Down, Polson, Montana
There is a place not far from the middle of nowhere that is called Three Dog Down. Our family happened across it once many years ago and I wanted to take Hannah to see it. Three Dog Down is a small operation that somehow manages to produce some of the finest down comforters in the world. It is run by a genuine cowboy named Bob and his three children.
On the day of our visit, we happened upon a real treat: Bob and a few of his close friends had assembled in what they bill as the "world's smallest theatre" to play honest folk music. They invited us to join them and listen in to what was certainly one of the most precious moments of my life.
Seen here, Bob is singing and playing his accordian despite a broken leg (he is, afterall, a cowboy, too!).
