Hannah Readies to Play Disc Golf

Hannah gives me the look as we start a round of disc golf at the new course in the Columbia Gorge.
A week before the wedding, we escaped for a day to do anything except wedding planning. The weather was nice and we were dying to get outside so we decided to play a little disc golf. After considering all the usual suspects, we decided to play a brand new course in the scenic Columbia River Gorge. On the way, we realized we had forgotten our discs so we had to canvass the truck stops and the outlet mall in Troutdale to find replacements. Clearly, all the wedding planning was taking its toll on our sanity.
Turns out this course is actually located at the famed Rooster Rock State Park, home to some sort of nudist community. Luckily, we didn't wind up seeing any of that kind of scenery.
We had a nice picnic first and then set out to play the course. It is poorly signed, long, out and back and not terribly interesting in retrospect. The back several holes are water holes and Bryce wound up losing his disc in the sludge at one point. Still, we had great fun that day.
