Every so often, I come across something online that makes me go "hmm". We've all heard about the $1.98/RT airfare mistakes. Now this:
Just now, I discovered that Air Asia, the much touted low fare carrier that is to Asia what JetBlue is to America and EasyJet is to Europe, "apparently" flies a domestic leg from Portland to Denver. Really? Consider this page from TravelZoo:
Intrigued, I did a little investigating. Air Asia does not serve either market (as I already suspected). Could this be the result of some code-share or just some mis-keying of data? The underlying link resolves to Alaska Air, but Alaska does not have a code share partnership with Air Asia. So what gives?
